The Royal Hop Pole is something of a local landmark. This English Heritage hotel is an amalgamation of historic buildings dating from the 15th and 18th centuries. The modern hotel still retains period features like a medieval hall upstairs and a beautiful old fireplace. The garden which leads up to the banks of the River Severn offers picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. Inside there are 28 individual bedrooms each one offering an en-suite bathroom tea and coffee-making facilities a hair dryer and a digital flat-screen television.
